The wound is the place where the light enters you.
What is bringing you to therapy ?
It can be painful and discouraging when we experience feelings and behaviors we don't understand and cannot seem to manage. Whether there are difficulties in relationships or work, a recent loss or transition, or the realization that some issues keep recurring within you, it's okay to feel at a loss for what to do right now.
In therapy we slow things down and create safety to explore what is happening. Is there stress, anxiety, depression? What are the obstacles and what needs more attention and care? In a compassionate and nonjudgmental space we learn to connect with the feelings and the parts of ourselves we are not so comfortable or familiar with. In this way, we find a clearer path to self-acceptance and change.
Whatever brings you here is the right place to start. I welcome you and look forward to helping you on your path.
Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, or between well and badly arranged constellations.
